Donald Duck: Your opinion matters

My 49th Disney comic to be published was the Donald Duck 10-pager “Your opinion matters”. The artwork was by Andrea Ferraris, and the story was first published July 27th, 2015.

Donald has a new job doing surveys for a market research company. This turns out to be more difficult than assumed as most people in Duckburg seems to hate taking surveys. Well, nobody’s supervising Donald, so he decides to cheat the system and fill out the survey forms himself. And when the market research company’s clients take Donald’s surveys seriously and starts shaping their future products after Donald’s made-up public opinion, he really starts having fun… but how long can it last?

The Beagle Boys: Masked for success

My 48th Disney comic to be published was the Beagle Boys 8-pager “Masked for success”. The artwork was by Andrea Ferraris, and the story was first published June 29th, 2015.

The Beagle Boys are out of prison, and Scrooge is going crazy waiting for their inevitable attack on the Money Bin. But what’s stalling them? The longer the wait, the more paranoid Scrooge gets, and when all of a new fashion craze makes everybody in Duckburg suddenly start wearing Beagle Boys masks, he’s really driven out of his mind! What are the Beagle Boys up to?

lullaby

Donald Duck: Lucky lullaby

My 47th Disney comic to be published was the Donald Duck 7-pager “Lucky lullaby”. The artwork was by Bas Heymans, and the story was first published May 25th, 2015.

When Donald reads in the paper that the banks of Duckburg are being tormented by an extremely lucky bank robber at night, and he also notices that Gladstone Gander looks very tired, he decides to spy on Gladstone one night. To his great shock, it turns out that Gladstone is sleepwalking! Donald realizes he has to follow Gladstone around to make sure he doesn’t get into any trouble, something that’s in no way a boring experience – as Gladstone’s luck doesn’t shut off just because Gladstone is sleeping…

deduction

Uncle Scrooge: Deduction

My 46th Disney comic to be published was the Uncle Scrooge 6-pager “Deduction”. The artwork was by Andrea Ferraris, and the story was first published May 25th, 2015.

Scrooge has been put into a brand new ridiculously steep tax bracket, and unless he happens to lose a lot of money before the tax man comes, he’ll have to pay a lot more in taxes than he’s comfortable with. So why not help the system a little and lose a lot of money on purpose? Well, when you’re a talented businessman, that’s easier said than done!
